RHS Wisley
On Sunday 8th August Sarah, Jon, Ian & I went to Wisley for a talk by Sue Bishop on flower photography. It was a very hot day & the event was well attended so we did not hold out a lot of hope of being able to A - stay awake as it was very warm in the room and B - last the lecture without a drink.
Well we did manage although it was touch & go at one stage. Sue did a great presentation & I think that we all came away with ideas for taking a better photograph and ideas for something a bit different. Well you can see the results for yourself here are some of my photos and some of them are "Abstract"
We then spent several hours photographing flowers, leaves, trees, cats etc. Some of us stopped sulking when they got the hang of the camera and found how to use the macro lens. Some of us started sulking when other people were using their macro lens, and some started sulking when the macro lens was returned to the rightful owner. One of us didn't sulk at all.
