Packed up and into the jeep in a rush as the worry about the river has increased. Wilson & Stanley are driving us. Stanley enjoys hurling the jeep around even more than Tepo did. Oh yes the river is very high – it is normally just a trickle running through the huge boulders. Hmm the boulders are still there but we cannot see them – makes for a good guessing game for Stanley. They stop, look at the river say something to each other – look again – Wilson shouts hold on, we get halfway across & then stop. Lift up the bags; lift up the bags someone cries. Stanley revs the engines then whoosh we are tilted sideways to the left to the right & then we are clear. Bye bye Porini camp. Bye bye Leopard.
