Hey there Mr Blue we're so pleased to be with you.

CV19 The Daily record 5th May 2020.

Well its another cracker of a day here in Barbados, oops I mean Marlow. It is very windy and the wind is quite cool, still good enough for shorts. A little walk around the town is the order of today. As my finger is very sore I cannot use my walking pole so do not want to venture into uneven or hilly terrain. Down past the Donkey and Lock road, gawping at all the posh house conversions along the way, we head to the river. The footpath along there is brand new and just perfect for practising my walk active technique, which by the way is coming along well. I think I might be able to move onto stage 3 what ever that is.
Along Gossmore Road and after waiting for the Donkey to pass, we cross the railway into Newtown road. Up past the gym, the Britannia, Rhiannon’s and back onto Hillside road. Only a little walk but it was nice to get out.

We sat in the glorious sunshine and read, did puzzles and someone had a snooze. Refreshed with a cup of tea and lemon drizzle cake we join a FT call with the Stay Inn. Its Sarah’s Birthday and we have a special licence to open on a weekday. We join her and Jon, Jeremy & Nic to wish her all the very best. She had a lovely day despite of lockdown, in fact lockdown might have actually made it that little bit more special. The beer garden in Cornwall remains closed due to it being cloudy and cold and cooking dinner was occurring along with drinks in the kitchen. The beer garden in WSM was opened but had to close early as a chill had set in and drinks were taken inside in the living room bar. The beer garden in Marlow was open for the duration, and we sipped sparkling wine in the glorious sunshine, many comments about the beautiful sky were made and suspicions that we were actually not in Marlow but had snuck off to the Caribbean and were hiding out there until all this madness is over were voiced.

Current view (I wish)

The lack of planes is having a super effect on air pollution around here. I hope they remember this when the fight about another runway at Heathrow resumes. There has been an increased number of planes coming over today we think its because Gatwick is near enough mothballed so a lot more flights are coming to Heathrow. Still not anywhere like a normal day though.
A flight from Belfast made the news as it was crammed full of people, by the looks of the back of their baldheads, mainly men. Why are they travelling? They were complaining that there was no social distancing or protection during the flight and at the airports.

Mr. & Mrs BT are working hard to feed their brood. It is amazing how much the babies have grown in just 2 days.

The A word was back on TV tonight; I managed to sleep through the majority of it.

Dinner was BBQ chicken, salad and jacket potatoes.
