And so it continues

Covid 19 The daily record April 6th 2020-03-21

Not a great deal to report on the home front. We ventured out for a bit of shopping everywhere was deserted. The shop was quiet but not a lot of social distancing going on. I felt afraid and ran around like a scalded cat, forgetting most of the stuff on the list even though I had it firmly grasped in my gloved fist.
That’s it we have everything that we could possibly require and I am not venturing into another supermarket for the duration. I feel so vulnerable after.

It was much cooler yesterday and quite windy, although we did manage a change of venue with hour in the summerhouse it was too cool to sit out and read.

Did a different Joe Wicks work out if he finds it hard how the hell are people like me supposed to do it! Anyway I persevered much to Ian’s and Willows amusement.

Ian is doing his photos. Cataloguing them, India is the current topic such fabulous pictures and great memories.

Petrol is down to nearly £1 a litre, shame we have nowhere to go.

The last episode of Liar aired tonight, it’s been a very good drama.

Meatballs and spaghetti for dinner.  With green salad.

Jon has sent out quiz 4. It looks too hard to me.

Must not eat biscuits! Must not eat biscuits.!

The Blue Tit decided to sleep in the nest last night.

The news.

Boris Johnson has been taken into intensive care. At 5 he was reported to be doing ok and in good spirits. By 7pm he was struggling to breathe. Dominc Raab is standing in, but not deputy PM.
Death rate  and infection rate has slowed but we are warned to to read into these figures as they are very up and down at present. A few days will show if we have peaked, but I fear that is just wishful thinking.
